Has your child has shown an interest in dance or perhaps they dance around the house and you want to see how they can improve their natural skills? At 3 years old they try their best and that is what matters. They are still developing gross and fine motor skills as well as social skills. A dance class is good for them to practice movement and sound. The main goal of that first class is to instill self confidence and familiarity with how our bodies move.

But what if your child is between the ages of 10-11? Is that too old? It's never too late to start. When the child is older it is good to put them with other children their age. Multiple classes a week can help the progress. Soccer practice is rarely once a week because the more you train the better you learn, this is the same with dancing. (continue)
